Vallecito Lake County Market houses the restaurant "La Comida Ranchera". We came to this restaurant because we wanted to try some of the local food in Vallecito. Had an amazing meal at this greasy-spoon Diner. They had excellent selection of food, a huge menu, anything you would want to eat they've probably got it there. Really friendly staff and really friendly service, fun easy eat-in style, but you can take it to go, too. It's definitely a great place to stop by if you find yourself in the lake area.
The food at Vallecito Lake Country Market is always excellent and consistently delicious. Definitely a great place to eat. I tried the shredded beef taco and enchilada combo with rice and beans and red sauce. The taco was absolutely delicious, and the enchilada was good, with the rice and beans being great. My friends had the shredded beef burrito with green sauce, and it was both big and tasty. One of my friends also had the stacked enchilada with red sauce, and she really enjoyed it. Definitely a place I’d recommend!
Doing one more for this neat little place. Went tonight to eat dinner and listen to the band and do a little dancing, and they definitely did not disappoint again. Jessica was our waitress tonight and she’s was just the sweetest little thing. So kind, attentive and just all around precious. The band was good and the food was amazing. We both had the brisket and it melts in your mouth, and asparagus that is fresh picked from a local garden. I have been just so impressed with this place just can’t recommend it enough. Wish we had one like this in our hometown.
Love hidden gems like this one! Food is awesome, and the literally have anything you could need without having to drive 45 minutes into town! Only two things I would say is that their restaurant menu is a little overwhelming, and they don't stay open very late.
Good food served by good people. Always served hot. This is our go to breakfast spot at the lake.
If u are in the area , not much around, and is quaint , nice people , and above average things to sustain a hungry soul. Would definitely go again
Amazing breakfast burritos and lots of options for a small restaurant great souvenirs in the store and very friendly service. I wish I would have stopped by sooner I could have ate here every day of the trip
I grew up going to this wonderful market. It always has an uplifting atmosphere when walking in. The customer service is quick and well adjusted to your needs. The owners are very friendly and love to joke around. This market has the best Mexican food! The menu is extensive and customizable. Ice cream is a sweet treat for dessert! They have several different flavors to choose from. The store upfront is well stocked and provides the perfect merchandise for a trip. Firewood, ice bags, lighters, chips, vegetables, medicine, bathroom essentials, toys to keep the kids entertained, and so much more! 10/10 I would definitely recommend eating and shopping here.
